Description
The LLAB is a flange load cell with an integrated amplifier for compression and tension forces. It is particularly suited to static and dynamic force measurements where the signal is to go directly to the control system as 4…20 mA, ±5 V or ±10 V – no separate amplifier is needed.
The load cell is available in measuring ranges from 5 kN to 5 MN or from 0.5 t to 500 t; 50 kN is offered in two sizes with ⌀ 100 mm and ⌀ 127 mm. Linearity and hysteresis are each ≤ ±0.05 % FS (up to 1 MN) or ≤ ±0.10 % FS (2 to 5 MN), and the calibration tolerance is below ±0.1 %. It is powered with 12…24 V DC (±5 V) or 18…24 V DC (4…20 mA, ±10 V); the response frequency reaches 5 kHz. It is connected via a 5 m cable, optionally via an M12 connector (4-pin, with 3 m cable) or a MIL connector (6-pin).
The fully laser-welded stainless steel housing with protection rating IP67 is designed for operation from −10 to +70 °C, compensated from −10 to +40 °C. The load cell withstands a service load of 120 % FS and a breaking load above 300 % FS; dynamic loads up to 75 % FS are applied through the central thread. In tension, the 50 kN ⌀ 100 mm version is guaranteed up to 25 kN and the 3 and 5 MN versions up to 2.5 MN. The LLAB is supplied factory calibrated and complies with CE, RoHS and REACH; calibration to ISO 17025 is optionally available.
