Load pins standard design up to rated load 20t

Octogon's standard load pins up to 20t nominal load can be used individually or as part of a complete measuring system. Sensors of various designs and accuracy classes, in conjunction with our selection of measuring amplifiers, provide an ideal and reliable solution for measuring load, force, weight, and for preventing overload and overstressing in systems.

Load pins are usually supported externally in two bearings, for example in the lugs of a fork clevis. The force is applied between the bearings. The load measurement expands the machine element with the weighing function.

Our standard load pins are significantly more cost-effective due to their fixed dimensions compared to custom-made load pins or force measuring pins.

Area of Application

Octogon's range of standard load pins is designed for measuring tensile and compressive forces in a variety of applications, including crane/lifting devices, industry, marine, offshore, and construction. Made from high-strength stainless steel, our load pins are suitable for use in exposed situations, including prolonged immersion in seawater.
