Do you have a specific task? We will get back to you with a recommendation.
Some measurements can only be made in the plant: because the component is too large to ship, because the forces only arise in the running process, or because the machine must not stand still for long. Then we bring the measurement equipment to you and measure under the conditions your plant works in every day.
What we measure on site
Strain and stress on components
We apply strain gauges directly to your machine part, for example to tie bars or beams. See strain gauge application.
Forces in the running process
Press forces via strain sensors on the machine frame, forces on rotating shafts by telemetry.
Monitoring plants
Loads in the operation of existing plants, for example floor loads and rails in a deep-freeze store at −30 °C.
Installation and commissioning
Mounting, wiring and testing load pins, load cells and electronics in operation. See load pins.
How an assignment runs
- Preliminary discussion: you describe the measurement task, the plant and the ambient conditions. Photos and drawings help.
- Quotation and date: we define measuring points and equipment and schedule the date to suit your operation.
- Measurement on site: application, setup of the measuring chain and measurement series in your plant.
- Evaluation: you receive a measurement report with the data and our assessment.

- What is to be measured and why (monitoring, verification, failure analysis)
- Photos or drawings of the measuring point
- Ambient conditions: temperature, humidity, accessibility
- Time windows in which the plant is accessible
