Description
The EALA is a junction box made of AISI 304 stainless steel with protection rating IP67. It brings together the cables of up to four load cells – up to eight in version EALA-02 – and passes one common signal on to the amplifier or indicator.

- EALA-01 – equalization board, up to 4 load cells, 4 + 1 cable glands M16 × 1.5, surge protection, 144 × 142 × 42 mm
- EALA-02 – equalization board, up to 8 load cells, 8 + 1 cable glands M16 × 1.5, surge protection, 200 × 149 × 43 mm
- EALA-03 – equalization board, up to 4 load cells, 4 + 1 cable glands M12 × 1.5, 176 × 90 × 42 mm
- EALA-04 – parallel connection board, up to 4 load cells, 4 + 1 cable glands M12 × 1.5, 176 × 90 × 42 mm

Equalization or parallel connection
The equalization board carries one potentiometer per load cell for matching the signals of the individual load cells. This requires that the sensitivities of the load cells differ by no more than 0.1 mV at 2 mV/V or 0.15 mV at 3 mV/V. The parallel connection board (EALA-04) connects the load cells without adjustment.
