Description
The QGKE is a thermal flow sensor for gas with a colour display that turns by 180° and two switch outputs. It is particularly suited to dry air and nitrogen where instantaneous value, total and limits are needed on the device.
Thermal mass flow measurement, the gas stream carries heat away from the heated sensor, one flow direction. Rated flow 2 … 500, 5 … 1000 or 10 … 2000 L/min by size. Display accuracy ± 3 % F.S. ± 1 digit, analogue accuracy ± 5 % F.S., repeatability ± 1 % F.S. ± 1 digit, response time ≤ 100 ms. Outputs: two open-collector switch outputs, NPN or PNP, 125 mA maximum, short-circuit protected, with differential, window, cumulative flow and cumulative pulse modes, plus 1 … 5 V, 4 … 20 mA or RS485. Supply 12 … 24 V DC ± 10 %, ≤ 50 mA. Connection via six-core PVC cable Ø 4 mm.
Plastic housing, process connection Rc1/2, G1/2, Rc3/4, G3/4, G1, R1 or G1-1/2 by size. Working pressure 0 … 1.0 MPa, pressure resistance 1.5 MPa. Medium and ambient temperature 0 … +50 °C without dew or ice. Protection grade IP40. EMC to IEC 61000-6-2 and IEC 61000-6-4. A declaration of conformity is available on request. Technical data for the 3000 and 6000 L/min sizes are available on request. We will confirm the output type, NPN or PNP, on request. The core assignment changes with the output version, so a cable does not fit every version.
