Description
The LZMA is a modular universal force measuring cell with analog output for tension, compression or tension and compression. One mechanical design, two electrical versions: either the 350 Ω strain gauge full bridge with 1 … 2 mV/V on a 5-pin M12 connector, or a 4 … 20 mA current output in 2-wire technology on a 4-pin M12 connector. Output, supply and connector are selected in the order code.
The rated loads are 500, 1000, 1500 and 3000 kg (5 to 30 kN). Linearity and hysteresis of the measuring cell are 0.5 % of range each, repeatability is 0.05 %, creep and temperature drift are 0.05 % each (per 10 min and per 10 K). The safe overload is 150 %, the breaking load 200 % of range.
The amplifier of the current version has a total error of 0.3 % of range – this is the value of the amplifier, not of the cell. It works with 16 bit and 10 measurements/s. The current loop runs on 12 … 40 VDC and is reverse-polarity protected, the error signal is 21 mA. The bridge version is supplied with 1 … 10 VDC; the evaluation is provided by the user.
The material is stainless steel or nickel-plated tool steel, the protection class is IP54, and the electronics are fully potted. Mounting is via rod ends, which are included in delivery, or without rod ends using the threaded bores of the cell. The weight is approx. 343 g (500 and 1000 kg) or 423 g (1500 and 3000 kg), each without rod end and without covers. Operating temperature -25 … +60 °C, storage temperature -25 … +85 °C, humidity up to 96 % RH without condensation.
The LZMA is a measuring device and has no safety rating.
