Description
The LPEA is a load shackle with radio transmission: it sits in the load path as a shackle and sends the readings by radio (2.4 GHz) up to 200 m – without a cable. An active repeater extends the transmission range; the shackle can be switched on and off remotely and powers down automatically.
It is available in 11 capacities from 6.5 t to 250 t, further capacities up to 2000 t on request. The safe overload is 150 %, the ultimate overload 400 % of the rated load. The accuracy is < 0.5 %, the temperature coefficients < 0.005 % (zero) and < 0.003 % (span) FRO per °C; linearisation is done in 10 steps. The compensated range is −10 … +40 °C, the operating range −20 … +60 °C.
Battery life is up to 200 h. The shackle is a robust stainless steel construction, sealed to IP67 and fitted with a load centering bobbin.
