Description
The EFMG is a wireless large display with four digits of 100 mm height: it receives its reading by radio. Only the 11 to 30 V DC supply is connected — no signal cable. This lets you hang a display wherever it is needed without running a line to the sensor.
It shows the value of a single transmitter or the sum of up to eight transmitter modules. Which modules belong to it, which display format applies and how the zero functions work are set with the free PC software Toolkit via a USB base station. Four display formats are available, from −1999…9999 to −1.999…9.999. Input timeout, underrange and overrange are reported on the display. The display is compatible with existing T24 systems.
Two wired logic inputs allow remote control of tare and of switching between net and gross. The display is mounted on the wall or suspended from the ceiling — typical for crane scales and scales where the operator keeps a distance from the load.
The radio link uses the licence-free 2.4 GHz band with DSSS at 10 mW transmit power and 15 channels. The display has an external antenna. The range depends on the counterpart: up to 800 m to a module with an equivalent external antenna, about 600 m to a transmitter with an integrated chip antenna and about 400 m to modules with smaller antenna versions — each in open field, transmitter on a 3 m mast, receiver 1.5 m above ground.

- Reading arrives by radio — only the supply is wired
- Single value of one transmitter or sum of up to eight modules
- Two logic inputs for tare and net/gross
- Supply 11 to 30 V DC, current max. 3.5 A, with reverse polarity protection
- IP65 / NEMA 4X protection when properly installed
- Enclosure 434 × 195.5 mm, wall or ceiling mounting
- Operating temperature 0 to +50 °C, storage −20 to +70 °C
