Description
Strain gauge bridge amplifier ESMC with a built-in safety circuit for SIL1 and PL c — in an IP65 field housing for mounting outside the control cabinet.
The difference to the SIL3 range: the safety function sits inside the device. A second amplifier, two comparators and a semiconductor relay watch the bridge independently of the measuring channel. No safety controller is required — the device switches by itself.
That makes the ESMC a usable measuring amplifier at the same time: 0.1 % of range plus sensor error, 24 bit resolution, output either 4 … 20 mA or 0 … 10 V.
