octogon GmbH in Leoben, Austria, develops, manufactures and calibrates sensors for force, load and weight. Our roots are in sensor manufacturing: we supply load cells, force transducers and load pins as standard designs from stock or manufacture them as custom designs to your drawing. We also supply the matching measurement electronics and sensors for pressure, level, temperature, flow, torque and strain.
Design, CNC machining, strain gauge application, electronics and calibration laboratory are all under one roof. So you talk to the same people, whether it is an item from the shop or a transducer that does not exist yet.

Under one roof in Leoben
A spring element tolerates no deviation: every inaccuracy in its geometry shows up later as a measurement error. That is why we mill and turn our spring elements ourselves, apply the strain gauges in our own workshop and calibrate in our own laboratory.

How we work
- Data sheet and delivery time for every item. Most prices are shown directly in the shop; for everything else we send you a written quotation.
- Technical advice from the people who design and manufacture. You describe the task, we propose the right transducer and electronics.
- Certificates where they are required: explosion protection to ATEX and IECEx, functional safety up to SIL 3 / PL e, protection up to IP69K, calibration certificate to ISO/IEC 17025. More under Quality and certifications.
