Bending Beam & Shear Beam Load Cells

Bending beam load cells are clamped on one side and loaded on the free side. The design is flat, robust, and inexpensive – which is why they are found in most platform and floor scales, filling systems, and multi-point tank weighing applications.

The range includes platform load cells (single point), which support a platform alone and are insensitive to off-center loading, bending beam and shear beam load cells for structures with three or four supports, and double shear beam versions for higher loads in bridge and vehicle scales.

All cells operate with strain gauges and output an mV/V signal, which can be converted to 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, or IO-Link using weighing transmitters and measuring amplifiers.
